Nestled in a small grove of trees in Bentong, this farm is a hidden gem 🌿🐐, perfect for a half-day family trip or a relaxing family day.

While it resembles a mini zoo, it's quite different from typical zoos. The biggest feature is that you can actually walk up to and interact with the animals—not just observe them from afar through fences and glass. 🥰 You can buy food to feed the animals, and sometimes the keepers will prepare food for you to get even closer. They are very patient, explaining the different animal breeds and temperaments, making feeding them a truly engaging experience 😊. Besides the animals, there's a small orchard, a small vegetable garden, and a fish pond 🐟. Buying a bag of fish food and standing by the pond to feed the fish, watching them swarm around, is quite fun.

We arrived early in the morning, and the entire farm was lush and green 🌿. The trees were plentiful, the air was pleasant, and it wasn't hot in the morning.

What I loved most about this place was the feeling it gave me—walking around, I didn't feel like I was in a zoo, but more like I was leisurely hiking in a forest. 🍃 There was no rush; I just walked, looked around, fed the animals, and occasionally stopped to take photos.

It's a small but very comfortable place.

If you're looking for a half-day trip that doesn't have to be too packed, a place to relax with family, this is a great option. 😊

In the afternoon, we added an Adventure ATV ride 🏍️💨

Haha! It was my first time riding an ATV, so of course I didn't dare to challenge myself with anything too thrilling right away 😂. I chose a simple route first, slowly exploring and getting a feel for it, giving myself a first experience.

It was my first time, so I wasn't looking for thrills; I just wanted to get my courage and feel for it 😆. As I drove, I discovered it was actually quite fun!

Sometimes travel is like that;

it doesn't have to be about big tourist attractions;

trying small things for the first time can also become a very special memory of the trip. ❤️

Wah, this is what I call proper customer service! 😆 The staff all super friendly, keep smiling, and actually explain everything instead of just standing there waiting for time to pass. Really feel welcomed.

Unlike some famous fast food outlets tepi highway… walk in like you owe them money. 🤣

Bentong Happy Farm really made the trip worth it. Educational for kids, fun for adults, and the service is top-notch. Malaysia seriously needs more places like this instead of those businesses with “don’t care” attitude. Keep it up! Will definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, Bentong Farm offers a wonderful family-friendly experience and is a great place for parents and children to spend quality time together. There are plenty of activities that encourage bonding, and the natural surroundings provide a refreshing escape from the city. Children will especially enjoy interacting with the animals and exploring the outdoor spaces.

One area that could be improved is the hygiene at the Moo Moo & Friends section. During our visit, there was goat and bull manure scattered around many areas. While it is understandable that this is a working farm with free-roaming animals, more frequent cleaning and better maintenance would help create a cleaner environment and reduce the risk of hygiene-related or animal-borne illnesses, especially for young children who love to touch and explore everything.

The farm café was unfortunately the biggest disappointment. We witnessed a staff member tasting the yong tau foo soup with a spoon and then dipping the same spoon back into the pot after seasoning, which is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable from a food safety perspective. In addition, several dishes did not taste fresh. The menu includes lemang with beef or chicken, yong tau foo with chee cheong fun, spaghetti, and children's favourites such as nuggets and sausages. However, the kids' meals tasted heavily frozen and lacked freshness, while the overall food quality did not meet expectations.

The natural water play area is a lovely concept and allows families to enjoy nature together. However, with better upkeep, cleaner surroundings, and more regular maintenance, it could provide a much more enjoyable and comfortable experience for visitors.

Overall, Bentong Farm has great potential and creates memorable family moments. With improvements in cleanliness, food hygiene, café quality, and maintenance of certain facilities, it could become an even better destination for families with young children.
