Following of success of Farm In The City in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, we are proud to announce The Bentong Farm is located just 8 minutes away from Bentong Town and within 1 hour from Kuala Lumpur. The Bentong Farm lives up to its expectations as an ‘Eden’ with its magnificent display of nature and beautiful landscapes where one can escape from the city bustle to peace and tranquillity. The farm is spread across 27 acres of beautifully landscaped areas with magnificent waterfalls, ponds, and streams creating the sense of being one with nature and harmony.
The staff are friendly and took time to explain about the animals in each area. All the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. The place is also stroller-friendly, which makes it convenient for families with young kids.
There are small shops around to rest and grab water or snacks. We underestimated the size of the area — it can easily take at least half a day to explore everything at a relaxed pace.
Will definitely come back to visit again.
The whole place can take easily 3-4 hours to navigate, so make sure you bring water, hat and sunscreen especially if the day is hot. If short for time, you can skip the fish feeding / fruit farm (after the tortoise / bunny area) as it is a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the park.
Only down side is the optional ATV Fun ride. The guide is professional and careful but I
found the trip, bit boring and slow, and the track with garbage all around while you pay significant price for what is less than 25 min ride.
2. The staffs (especially Ms. Nadia) were very welcoming and took time explaining each animal in detail while helping us to take pretty photos.
3. Animals were kept in a healthy and conducive environment where they will interact with you (most of the animals that you see can be touched and/or fed!).
4. The Durian ice cream tasted like real Durian which was good.
Trust me we been to most petting zoos in Malaysia and this one takes the cake!
